BOOKING TERMS AND OTHER CONDITIONS
The Terms and Conditions set out below apply to all Alexanika Apartments bookings made through this website, or by phone, or by e-mail, or by social media. Alexanika Apartments is running by EYDIA Touristiki MIKE, a company registered in Kriopigi, Halkidiki, Greece (Reg # 140195857000, MHTE# 1005450).
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Greek law and the Greek courts shall have jurisdiction over any matter arising out of or in connection with them.
All prices shown online are per room per night (unless otherwise stated). Prices are subject to local tourist tax 0.5 eur per room per night, which has to be paid extra at check-in.
We offer you different booking conditions and tariffs for your convenience – Non-Refundable, Partly Refundable and so on. Please read carefully Cancellation Terms before or within booking process on our site when you choose the room to book.
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you receive a booking confirmation. For the avoidance of doubt, prices do not include any incidental charges, which you may incur during your stay (for example, using washing machine etc). Such charges (as well as all damages if any happens by your fault) will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with us that you irrevocably authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for the amount of any shortfall.
DEPOSITS AND PRE-PAYMENTS
Deposits and pre-payments are required for most of the rates featured online. You will be asked to guarantee your booking with a valid credit/debit card and some deposit will be charged. Please read carefully payment and cancellation terms of particular Rate Plan during on-line booking process.
If you book us by phone, or by e-mail, or by social media we also usually ask you to pay some deposit by card or by transfer to bank account.
BALANCE OF MONIES OUTSTANDING
On arrival you will be asked to pay the rest of total booking amount by credit/debit card or cash. We accept all major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
A valid credit card, which has been charged for deposit amount, is required to check in. Otherwise we refund the deposit to this card and you are obliged to pay total booking amount by other card or cash.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Hotel rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. You can arrive to Alexanika Apartments earlier and leave your luggage at reception. Rooms must be vacated by 11.30 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise sanctioned by the hotel manager. Additional charge for late check-out will apply.
Availability of rooms at the rates shown online may be limited and/or restricted to certain periods.
We are welcome your children of any age. Children under the age of 2 can stay free of charge at Alexanika Apartments, when sharing a room with two paying adults where a suitable room is available. Availability of suitable Double rooms is limited and Alexanika Apartments will determine whether a room is suitable for the purpose to set baby-cot or folding bed.
Our hotel can accommodate pets (under 5 kg), upon prior notice. As a guest you will be charged extra 10 eur per night and if there is damage or soiling in the room. Please contact the hotel directly for further details.
CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS
All cancellations must be made in accordance with our cancellation terms.
Whilst every effort is made to fulfill any particular requests which you may have in relation to your stay with us, we cannot unfortunately guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests which you may make and our failure in this regard will not constitute a breach of contract.
In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. However, you have the right to:
- accept the changed arrangements as notified; or
- make alternative arrangements with us; or
- cancel your reservation (please note that we shall not be liable for any sums which you have paid to any other persons in connection with your reservation).
In force-majeure circumstances we or you can cancel the booking and we provide you with the voucher for deposit paid, which you may use for the future booking us.
RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
You will be held fully responsible and liable for any loss or damage caused by you or your Booking agent (including loss or damage to the hotel building and property, our officers, employees, owners, affiliates, third party suppliers, contractors and other guests).
We reserve the right at our discretion to charge you for any loss or damage caused without the need for any court order. We further reserve the right to cancel your booking or curtail your stay at any time without refund due to the behavior of your Booking agent.
We will not be liable to you for any injury, illness or death, damage or loss, cost or expense or other liability arising from your or your Booking agent’s act or omission, or the act or omission of any third party, or for any matter which is unavoidable, unforeseeable or outside of our control.
In the event that we are found liable to pay compensation or damages to you for any reason, our liability is limited to a total maximum amount of 100 eur per guest or 30% of the total booking price excluding any extras (whichever is the lesser amount).
In no circumstances will we be liable for loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, delay, loss of use or consequential or other losses whatsoever.
We will not be responsible for any services or activities which do not form part of our contract with you, for instance restaurants, water sports or other activities and services operated by third parties from our hotel locations, excursions or tours that you may choose to book while you are at the hotel, and any other arrangements which are not directly provided by us.
We shall in no event be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from or in connection with any transfers co-ordinated or arranged from a hotel, whether by plane, sea plane, boat or vehicle, which are carried out by an independent travel company or third party service provider.
COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS
We take our guest satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our hotels should be made in the first instance to the hotel's duty manager at the time of your stay so that we can attempt to resolve it immediately.
